Recording day 3

We just finished up day 3 of recording at Rollercoaster to learn that Shane has titled the album.... The Research EP. According to this title, the album will be an EP (<10 href="http://s15.photobucket.com/albums/a371/patjones/?action=view&current=IMG_0132.jpg" target="_blank">Photobucket

Recording and...

As a fan, this is the time that I hate.... the band isn't playing shows, updating their site (oops) and has seemingly dropped off the face of the planet. Well, I'd like to say, Good things are coming for those who wait... and I'd also like to say that phrases become cliche for good reason :)

We have had one studio date and have two more next week to work on our yet-to-be-named EP. Look for this maxed out Extended Play to have at least six tracks, maybe seven or eight. Pink Floyd could call this a double album, but we are calling it just an EP.

On the EP we will have our new favorites, which will include two different versions of Band-aid for a fracture and Retrospect.

In other news, we are going to be playing the Knitting Factory on July 31 as a part of the International Pop Overthrow. We will be heading onstage at 8:30. We will also be playing at the IPO in San Francisco as well.

Finally, the much blogged about rumors are true. OSA will be playing a surprise show in Amarillo, TX in July. This headlining show will be free, epic and truly memorable. Love will be in the air. The air will be full of sound. The sound will be beautiful. Don't miss that!

And, of course, here are some pics!
